Services
Individual & Family Counselling
Services to support children, adolescents, and their families in promoting change are possible on a virtual platform! Supporting families as they explore challenges related to trauma and mental health, as well as families who are going through transitions, self-esteem and relationship challenges. Utilizing evidence-based interventions while incorporating art and/or play to support these individuals enhances this process and enhances outcomes.
Additionally, clinical services for adults with a wide range of challenges, such as relationships, parenting, anxiety and depression, trauma and abuse (current and historical), self-esteem, as well as coping with loss and grief, can be addressed in therapy.
Services for First Responders
First responders experince stress and trauma at rates greater than the general public. To best support these individuals, evidence based interventions that are trauma informed are utilized. Examples of these include Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Preventative treatment, as well as services for those who are actively struggling with stress, trauma and mental health concerns, are available. Family members, partners and children of first responders also experience the challenges of these roles. Services to support them in navigating these unique elements support all involved.
